About Me
I’m Kathryn, Midlife Career Coach & EQ Practitioner
My mission is to create a safe, energising space where midlife women can reconnect with themselves, gain clarity, and take small, intentional steps toward a more fulfilling life and career.
Real change doesn’t require a reinvention, just the courage to begin.
I believe that wherever you are on your personal or professional journey, you are never the finished article. Each experience, encounter, and challenge offers an opportunity to grow and reshape yourself.
When you reconnect with who you are and what matters most, it touches every part of your life—how you lead, how you parent, how you feel, and how you show up in the world.
I’ve always been fascinated by how people think and grow.
My career started over 30 years ago, helping people adjust to the early days of PCs at work. I ran lunchtime clinics where people would come in feeling stuck—and I’d help them figure out a solution.
Watching their faces light up with that “aha” moment—that realisation that they could figure it out themselves—that’s when I knew I was hooked.
That same passion for helping people learn and grow has shaped my career, whether I was leading large-scale digital learning projects or designing solutions for global organisations.
But the real thread running through all of it was helping people get unstuck, guiding them from confusion to clarity.
But I’ve had my own stuck moments. Like many careers, mine hasn’t been a straight line.
In my early career, I thought success meant climbing the career ladder. I moved into IT management—a sensible career move, but it drained me. The longer I stayed, the more stuck I felt, and the harder it seemed to get back to something that played to my strengths and gave me joy.
Eventually, I pivoted into digital learning, and it felt like I’d finally found my place. I was leading a team, working on award-winning projects, being promoted and doing work that felt aligned.
And then—the whole organisation was made redundant. I was three months pregnant at the time. It was terrifying. I felt like the ground had been pulled out from under me.
I took the safe option—found a stable job to see me through early motherhood.
But life had other plans. Nine months into maternity leave, I was made redundant again.
This time, I took the leap into freelancing—and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made.
For the next 10 years, I built a successful business, working with global clients and building a strong reputation.
But after a while, I started to feel stuck again. The work was interesting, but something was missing. It was time for another change.
This time, it was going to be one where I was firmly in the driving seat.

Why I Coach
I’d seen the power of coaching through some client projects I’d worked on, and it hit me.
This was my opportunity to reconnect with the joy of helping people get unstuck—the joy I'd discovered in those lunchtime clinics years ago. But now, instead of teaching someone how to use software, it was about helping them reconnect with themselves.
Today, I support midlife women who feel stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure. My coaching helps them find the clarity, confidence, and courage to make meaningful, intentional shifts in their careers and lives.

I believe deeply in the power of small actions to create significant change.
It's not about drastic upheaval, it’s about taking small, intentional steps, exploring possibilities, and building new habits.
Because when a woman feels aligned and fulfilled, the impact extends beyond her. It influences how she shows up in every area of her life—as a colleague, a leader, a parent, a partner, and a friend.
Creating and nurturing this ripple of positive change—that's why I do this work.
I know how hard it can be to feel stuck—to know you need a change but have no idea where to start.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the next step. That’s what I help my clients do—find clarity, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward a future that feels right.
Because midlife isn't a time to settle, it's your time to soar!
